Production Supervisor OR - Weston

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of production and packaging lines, ensuring that only products meeting company and consumer specifications reach the end consumer. The Production Supervisor supports line leads by assisting with personnel training and works closely with the Production Manager to maintain an organized department and ensure production schedules are met. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure that product meets specification requirements. Address equipment issues or product specification deviations per Mixing Supervisor’s instructions. Perform pre‑op start‑up procedures to ensure that oven and fryers are clean and ready for use. Report food safety and quality issues to Lead Packer, Supervisor, or Production Manager in his/her respective department. Follow J&J Snack Foods’ Food Safety Plan (FSP), the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). Follow all OSHA safety rules and all food safety laws and regulations. Maintain and record correct temperatures and pressure according to product specifications. Complete oven/bake time worksheets and record moisture levels. Troubleshoot with leads and maintenance for any persistent major problems with the line. Make any adjustments to the line per instructions by an authorized manager or supervisor in the department. Update production records and forward records to production office.
