Installer - Insulation

Job Details: Location: Cranston, RI 02910 | Position Type: Full Time | Education Level: None | Travel Percentage: Road Warrior | Shift: Day | Category: RISE Responsibilities Installing insulation materials, air sealing, roof ventilation, etc. Apply insulation materials such as loose, blanket, board, and foam insulation to attics, crawl spaces, basements, or walls. Install and seal joints of air ducts to improve heating and cooling efficiency. Installing soffit, gable, or roof ventilation openings. Installing temporary access openings to walls, floors, or roof using hand or power tools. Installing weather-stripping materials to doors or windows to reduce energy losses. Wrap air ducts and water lines with insulating materials, such as duct wrap and pipe insulation. Clean and maintain tools and equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service skills (internal and external). Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-pressure, schedule-driven environment. Physical Demands Ability to lift weight up to 40lbs in both a vertical and horizontal range of motion, as needed. Ability to lift weight over 40lbs in both a vertical and horizontal range of motion, as needed. Ability to crawl, stoop, stand, reach (push/pull) & bend to perform work necessary for proper weatherization installation in attics, basements or crawl spaces, as needed. Ability to drive and walk around on job sites, as needed. Ability to ascend or descend on extension ladders, step ladders and stairs using feet and/or hands and arms, as needed.
