Office Facilities Technician

Job Description: This position ensures the smooth functioning of the office environment, facilitates effective communication, and executes or oversees typical office facility maintenance. This role works closely with and supports all staff at the Bluemound office, Avondale office, and RDC facility in Bridgeport to ensure office furniture and utilities are in order and maintained. Problems faced are generally not difficult or complex; position fixes what they are capable of or contacts vendors to coordinate repairs/inspections. Location: Primary office in Fort Worth, Texas (Bluemound Road office) Physical Demands / Working Conditions: Indoor/Outdoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate/maintain standard office facilities and systems May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others Overtime could be required Responsibilities: These duties apply to the 3 office facilities mentioned above in the Job Description Execute office furniture moves as needed; manage surplus inventory of office furniture Coordinate required maintenance/inspections of HVAC systems with approved vendors Work closely with Office Admin Lead to support office or field events, adjustments to conference room set ups/field tents and tables, meal receipt and set up Execute minor maintenance/repairs; utilize handy-man experience in working with tools Coordinate movement of office related equipment between the 3 offices and warehouse when needed Perform other duties as required Skills and Qualifications: Required Skills: Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills Good attention to detail, organization and prioritization Demonstrated cognitive and problem-solving skills Driver's license; ability to drive company owned truck and make trailer hauls Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required Preferred experience in office maintenance, repairs and upkeep Good mechanical skills; able to make most simple repairs to office facilities equipment independently Not expected to maintain complex HVAC systems or be a certified electrician #J-18808-Ljbffr RigUp
