Product Manager / Product Owner

Role Overview

Apply product management and product ownership expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through rigorous evaluation of written content. This remote contractor engagement focuses exclusively on analysis and assessment, not product roadmap ownership, delivery management, sprint facilitation, stakeholder leadership, or program governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and compare AI-generated responses to specifications, release notes, user-facing copy, and stakeholder updates.
• Score responses for clarity, tone, instruction adherence, and usefulness for their intended audience.
• Write detailed scoring rationales that explain whether content satisfies prompt requirements and audience needs.
• Identify fluent but nonresponsive writing, as well as otherwise complete responses that are unsuitable for users.
• Spot factual errors, inconsistencies, and content that exceeds or fails to meet prompt constraints.
• Collaborate virtually and asynchronously with project managers and reviewers to maintain consistent, high-quality assessments.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Product Manager or certified Product Owner, with a strong record in cross-functional product development.
• Deep product management and product ownership capability in evaluating content and specifications. Candidates whose backgrounds are limited to project management, program management, delivery, or scrum leadership are not a fit for this engagement.
• Native-level English fluency and exceptional written communication skills.
• Extensive experience writing and evaluating specifications, PRDs, acceptance criteria, release notes, or decision documents.
• Ability to determine whether content is appropriately tailored to executives, technical stakeholders, or end users.
• Experience delivering actionable written feedback on technical or user-facing documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, critical analysis, stakeholder communication, independent-work skills, and virtual collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with model evaluation, RLHF, or annotation is helpful but not required. Prior AI experience is not required.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.
• This is an evaluation and analysis role, rather than a product delivery or governance position.

Compensation

• $90 to $140 per hour.
