Job Description
Our client is a financial services firm looking to add a junior attorney to its transactional legal team in New York.
\n \nThe role supports credit and financing activity, with direct access to business teams and meaning responsibility.
\n \nResponsibilites:
\n- \n
- Negotiate financing agreements and related transaction documents. \n
- Support secured lending and transactions involving financial assets. \n
- Work with business teams and external counsel to resolve legal issues and move deals through closing. \n
- Handle commercial agreements and advise on legal developments affecting the business. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- 2–4 years of relevant transactional experience at a law firm or financial institution. \n
- Strong drafting skills, sound judgment and the ability to manage competing deadlines. \n
- Experience in lending, structured finance or related credit transactions. \n
- J.D. and admission to the New York Bar. \n
About the role:
\nCompensation Range: $200,000 - $235,000 base salary + Bonus
