Contract | Days | 36 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide med/surg level nursing care for patients 18 and older
• Utilize unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• Work various shift lengths and days as scheduled; flexibility is required
• May float to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed
• Adhere to professional nursing attire standards including closed-toe shoes
• Complete department-specific training and orientation during the first week of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required prior to start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg or higher level of care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work a 13-week contract scheduled at 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation
• Must be flexible with shift lengths and days; no guarantee of hours or shift preference

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
