This position is responsible for performing a variety of Facility/Garage/Lot supportive functions which include, but are not limited to; customer service, cashiering, flagging, cleaning, lot maintenance, operating and maintaining revenue control equipment, filling out reports, issuing parking citations, opening and closing of booths.Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay range for this position is $17.00-$18.00 per hour plus commission.Work Schedule:Flexible; shifts may range from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM, Monday through SundayBenefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits outlined above.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform all functions.Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clientsPatrol and monitor each lot to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parkedEnforcing lots by issuing citations based on our preapproved guidelines to any non-paid or time-expired parkersManage lot signage, for example: taking down, repairing, and assembling signsMaintain lot cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and other general lot maintenanceTrouble shoot parking meters/equipment when applicableResponsible for preparing reports and filing paperwork regarding violations and citationsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal lawsSeasonal tasks including snow removal by shoveling, salting and operation of snow throwerPerform other duties as assignedDescriptive Statement(s)% of TimeThe total amount of time for all functions of the job100%QUALIFICATIONSEducation:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredRequired Licensure, Certification, etc.:Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screenA valid driver’s license and clean driving recordWork Experience:One to three months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge & Skills:Ability to provide excellent customer service to guests.Ability to be trained to operate and maintain revenue control equipmentSkilled in maintenance and the upkeep of a facilityAbility to log information and make mathematical computations quickly and accuratelySome knowledge of personnel policies and proceduresKnowledge and ability in the use of a calculator and fee computerGood written and communication skills, both in writing and verballyWillingness to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditionsAbility to establish and maintain effective and appropriate relationships with the public, agencies and other employeesAbility to operate motor vehicleAbility to stand for the length of the shiftAbility to lift, push and pull up to 50 poundsSCOPEAuthority to Act:Job is fairly routine.
