Project Manager

Dogwood Site Contractors is a full-service heavy civil contractor serving multiple industries across the Southeast. Established in 2021, Dogwood Site Contractors is committed to taking care of our people and our clients. We are seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for the overall management of projects from initiation to completion. The primary duties will involve identifying project requirements, overseeing costs, and ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget. Additionally, the Project Manager will be tasked with identifying potential issues and collaborating with clients to resolve them, acting as a liaison to ensure that project deliverables meet client expectations. You will also be responsible for creating Pay Applications for payment based on project completion milestones and working closely with the accounting department to review project costs and ensure accurate accounting practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively. Needs Identification and Cost Oversight Identify project needs and requirements, including resources, materials, and timelines, to ensure project success. Oversee project costs, tracking expenses and managing budgets to ensure projects remain within financial constraints. Issue Identification and Client Collaboration Identify potential problems or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle and work collaboratively with clients to address them. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Client Liaison Act as a liaison between the project team and the client, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project expectations. Proactively manage client relationships to foster trust and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Pay Application Creation and Accounting Collaboration Create Pay Applications for payment based on project completion milestones, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements. Collaborate with the accounting department to review project costs, reconcile expenses, and ensure proper accounting practices are followed. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant industry certifications are advantageous. Proven experience in project management, with a successful track record of managing projects from initiation to completion. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and project team members. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify project risks, analyze data, and make informed decisions. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
