As they avidly tackle nationwide development with cultivation facilities, dispensaries, and their headquarters in Chicago – the demand to fill their teams is at an all-time high.

THE ROLE

As a Regional Controller, this person will oversee the operations finance team across several production facilities (OH,IL,NV). As a key member of the regional leadership team, this person will also collaborate closely with site leaders and business partners to drive financial performance, provide visibility into key metrics, and ensure operational alignment with financial objectives. This role is responsible for delivering accurate reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Oversee month-end close and financial reporting for assigned facilities in line with GAAP, internal policies, and standard operating procedures. Manage inventory reporting and controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple sites. Oversee capital expenditures, fixed asset reporting, and related controls. Provide financial insights and KPI analysis to regional leadership and site managers. Identify performance trends, analyze root causes, and recommend actionable improvements. Drive cost-savings initiatives and support continuous improvement projects. Partner with enterprise systems and process leads to implement and ensure compliance with ERP systems. Maintain strong internal controls, manage SOX compliance, and support audit activities. Recruit, train, and develop finance talent across facilities. Support special projects and perform ad hoc financial analyses as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years as a plant controller in a manufacturing environment. Strong cost accounting background. Deep understanding of US GAAP and internal control standards. Self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization. High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and integrity.
