Beautylish is seeking an Assistant Inventory Planner who will focus on our brand, Good Molecules. The idea behind Good Molecules is simple: skincare that works at a fair price. Founded by a team of beauty industry veterans, Good Molecules creates skincare solutions with best-in-class ingredients, backed by research, and formulated for effectiveness to help our customers see a difference in their skin. The Assistant Inventory Planner will report to the Inventory Planner and collaborate to ensure our inventory remains in-stock and accessible to our customers across all retail and wholesale channels. This is a detail-oriented role where you must keep track of many moving pieces and simultaneous product pipelines and effectively communicate across departments/functions. The right candidate is focused on accuracy and efficiency, driven by a desire for continuous improvement, and sees every project and assignment through to the end.

Responsibilities Include:

• Forecasting & Planning: use data to monitor trends, performance, and inventory health.
• Inventory Allocations: monitor inventory across warehouses and retain channels and conduct weekly inventory transfers to ensure SKU availability.
• Purchase Order Management: generate POs in Netsuite, track status of all POs (production progress, delivery timelines, receipt), and proactively update internal business partners.
• Production Planning: track and update production schedules for packaging, artwork, and samples and participate in weekly calls with manufacturers.
• Reporting & Analysis: create reports and dashboards to provide weekly updates on sales performance, inventory health, and shipment status.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years relevant experience in retail/ecommerce inventory management or merchandising; a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Accounting or similar is preferred.
• Database/inventory management skills: strong competency in Excel/GoogleSheets: experience with NetSuite a plus.
• Process-oriented and organized: you can build and maintain systems that keep high volumes of information organized and accessible so nothing falls through the cracks.
• AI Acumen: you can responsibly use AI tools to maximize efficiency without sacrificing accuracy, ownership, or.
• Excellent attention to detail: you double-check your work with discipline and understand that even small errors can have big impacts on our customers.
• Proactive communicator: you think about what others need to know, update your team without being asked, and you don't hesitate to escalate issues to keep processes moving.
• Strong ownership and drive: we never have to ask twice, you hold yourself accountable to deadlines, you take ownership of your results.

Other Requirements:

• Hybrid position: 2 days per week required at our San Francisco office in the financial district and occasional on-site visits to our Walnut Creek office.
• Current U.S. work authorization: no current or future visa sponsorship is available for this role.
• Business-level written and verbal fluency in English: additional language skills a plus, especially Korean, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese.

This is a full time, salaried/exempt position with a targeted starting salary of $72,500; the final offered salary may vary based on experience.
