Assembler Industry: Industrial Job Number: SH200504710 Pay Rate: $18 / hour Branch: Anderson Job Description Shift & Compensation Shift: 1st Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience Job Duties Our client is a manufacturer of large industrial machines designed to break down wooden pallets. In this role, you will assemble metal and steel components to build these machines using hand tools and blueprints. Responsibilities include: Assemble large industrial equipment using a variety of hand tools Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings Install and secure metal and steel components Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday Operate a forklift as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Background Profile Basic knowledge of hand tools required Ability to read and interpret blueprints Previous assembly experience preferred Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift Forklift experience is a plus Mechanical, electrical, or welding experience is a plus and may lead to cross-training opportunities Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team
