In this hands‑on role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced automated production equipment in a fast‑paced Tier‑1 automotive manufacturing environment. You will be the go‑to expert for solving complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues—helping minimize downtime and keep production on track. Summary / Purpose Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, washers, powder coat, and assembly systems across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic functions. Essential Duties and Accountabilities Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Troubleshoot electrical systems including three‑phase power, PLCs, and CNC controls Diagnose AC/DC drives, servo motors, and related components Support mechanical systems including gearboxes, ball screws, rails, and bearings Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, welding, and grinding Troubleshoot and modify pneumatic and hydraulic systems Use precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools Identify, source, and replace parts; modify equipment as needed Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Knowledge of relay logic and electrical systems Ability to read technical documentation and schematics Strong math and measurement skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Basic knowledge of safety and environmental systems Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required.
