Senior Mechanical EngineerThe Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon Missile Defense products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and we integrate state-of-the-art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are located in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments. Our Engineers engage in weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. TEE has job responsibilities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and sustainment.TEE is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems for proprietary projects within the Raytheon effector portfolio.Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical environmentsManage the Technical Data Package (TDP) and its release for multiple test stationsEvaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctionsProviding guidance and assistance to less experienced professionals and/or support employeesThis position is 100% onsite in Tucson, ArizonaQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Minimum of five (5) years of experience with a combination of the following CAD modeling and analysis tools: ANSYS, ProE / CREO Parametric, AutoCAD, and/or Creo SchematicExperience with shock analysis for optical devices such as near infra-red spectrometersUS Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
