Network Intelligence Intern - San Francisco Hub (NY or SF) | Graduate - Summer 2027

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Endeavor's San Francisco Hub exists to make one argument true: that Silicon Valley is not the destination for global entrepreneurs, but one powerful node in a network that runs through 45+ markets. We call it the Power of Elsewhere. Our job is to connect Endeavor Entrepreneurs from Lagos, São Paulo, Dubai, Jakarta and beyond to the capital, customers, talent and ideas concentrated in the Bay Area — and to send value back the other way.

A hub is only as good as the introductions it can make. Right now, the SF Hub's most valuable asset — its relationships with investors, operators, corporate partners and AI-ecosystem builders — lives across spreadsheets, inboxes and individual memories. There is no single record of a person, no clear owner of each relationship, and no reliable way to answer the question that matters most: who should this entrepreneur meet, and who at Endeavor should make that introduction?

We're looking for a systems-minded, analytically rigorous intern to own a high-visibility project: designing and standing up the SF Hub's Network Operating System. This is not a data-entry role. You will make real architecture decisions, interview stakeholders across multiple continents, and build something the hub runs on after you leave — with a credible path to becoming the standard pattern for Endeavor's hubs in Singapore, Dubai and London.

By the end of the summer you will have delivered a working network system, a segmented map of the Bay Area ecosystem, and a playbook other offices can adopt — a tangible output that changes how a global organization makes introductions

LOCATION

This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. The intern will support the San Francisco Hub and its operations, so if based in New York, they'll be expected to keep dedicated hours that overlap with the Bay Area team's time zone and as part of the experience, the intern may also spend one week in San Francisco working in person with the Hub team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility #1: Design or review the Hub's Network Data Model
  Define the core objects the hub runs on — the person record, the relationship owner, and the invitation — and design how they relate. Move the hub from its current prototype to a Salesforce-native model, using Campaigns and Campaign Members as the invitation layer, so the system of record stays governed and auditable.

• Responsibility #2: Map and Segment the Bay Area Network
  Build a structured, segmented map of the hub's network: investors, operators, corporate and platform partners, Endeavor alumni, and the AI ecosystem. Assign clear coverage and ownership so no contact is approached twice by two different colleagues, and no valuable relationship goes unowned.

• Responsibility #3: Build the Matching Layer
  Turn the network data into something actionable: a defensible method for recommending which Bay Area contacts a visiting entrepreneur should meet, based on sector, stage, market and stated need. Define what a good match looks like and how the hub team reviews and approves recommendations before anyone is contacted.

• Responsibility #4: Make It a Global Pattern
  Document the model as a playbook that Endeavor's other hubs and local offices can adopt. Pressure-test it with at least three offices of different size and maturity, capture where it breaks, and build in the flexibility those markets need.

• Responsibility #5: Instrument and Report on Network Health
  Define the metrics that tell us whether the hub's network is getting stronger — coverage, depth, activation, reciprocity — baseline them, and build the recurring reporting view used by HQ and directors.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - WHO YOU ARE

• Student Status: Graduate student, ideally a rising second-year MBA. Candidates in adjacent graduate programs (data science, public policy, information systems) with strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

• Interests / Areas of Focus:

  • Preferred background in Business Administration, Management, Strategy, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills and interest are encouraged to apply

  • Demonstrated experience designing or working inside a CRM or relationship database — Salesforce experience is a strong plus

  • Comfort with data modeling: you can look at a messy real-world process and propose the objects, fields and relationships that describe it

  • Working fluency with spreadsheets at an advanced level, and comfort with light scripting or no-code automation (Apps Script, SQL, Python or similar)

  • Ability to run structured stakeholder interviews with senior colleagues across regions and translate what you hear into design decisions

  • Genuine interest in venture capital, startup ecosystems, and how networks create value

  • Strong written and organizational skills — you will be writing documentation others rely on

  • Care for data hygiene and governance; comfort working within enterprise data policies rather than around them

  • Comfortable working in a multilingual, global, cross-cultural environment

• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. We will not be able to interview or select candidates without valid U.S. work authorization for the 2027 year.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Endeavor Summer Internship Program gives students 10 weeks to do more than just watch from the sidelines. You'll be put side by side with our Headquarters teams in NYC, San Francisco, London, Dubai, or Singapore, owning meaningful projects that move Endeavor forward.

You'll contribute to real work from day one, and by the end of the summer, you'll present it directly to our CEO. Along the way you’ll get access most internships can’t offer, including fireside chats with our CEO, candid conversations with category-defining Endeavor Entrepreneurs, and face time with executives across our global HQ. You’ll leave with new skills, relationships across 50+ countries, and a much deeper understanding of how entrepreneurship works around the world.

• Program Duration: June 7th, 2027 to August 13th 2027

• Pay: New York State minimum wage ($17/hr), up to 40 hours/week

• Structure: This is a hybrid internship in New York City, with three days per week to be spent at Endeavor Global’s HQ office in Downtown Manhattan
