Low Voltage Technician

Job Description Job Description We are seeking Data Center Installation Technicians to support structured cabling and fiber infrastructure projects in a fast-paced data center environment. This role is ideal for individuals with construction, data center, or low-voltage experience who are looking to grow their careers in the booming technology infrastructure industry. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling according to industry standards Perform terminations, punch-downs, and patch panel connections Install and support wireless access points (WAPs) and related infrastructure Assist with fiber optic cable handling, routing, and dressing Support cable testing using Fluke, EXFO, and other testing equipment Follow installation standards, project drawings, and customer requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to complete projects on schedule What You Bring 1-3 years of experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, construction, or data center environments Experience with cable pulling, punch-downs, and basic terminations Familiarity with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling systems Ability to use hand tools and work comfortably in construction environments Reliable transportation and commitment to a Monday-Saturday schedule Strong attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn Ability to pass required background and drug screenings Nice to Have Experience working with ISP fiber and copper networks Fiber optic cabling experience Data center experience Experience using Fluke or EXFO testing equipment Wireless access point installation experience Why Apply? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
