This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care during surgeries across various specialties. Shift Information\n This position requires working 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend and holiday on-call duties are also expected: \n \n Day call on weekends: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. \n Night call on weekends: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. \n \n On-call duties during the week include one night of call (Monday-Thursday) from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, in addition to one weekend of on-call duty per month, rotating between day and night. Job Responsibilities\n \n Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. \n Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery. \n Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery. \n Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. \n Maintain sterile technique and adhere to operating room protocols. \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room. \n Experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, or OB specialties is preferred. \n Current Michigan nursing license, verified through LARA and Nursys. \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required. \n Attendance Policy\n We maintain a strict attendance policy to ensure consistent patient care. Any RN who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their shift three times will be terminated.
