Beyond offering logistics jobs, we build careers and fuel the future of foodservice distribution.JOB SUMMARY:Oversee and provide directions for the warehouse supervisors and lead persons concerning the day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations in order to meet QCD objectives and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinates and monitors day-to-day operations, analyzing operations, taking corrective action, providing constructive feedback and monitoring cost and expenses, to achieve QCD productivity and quality objectives and to ensure compliance with QCD and regulatory agency regulations. Supervises the daily activities of warehouse supervisors, providing instruction, training and performance feedback to ensure efficiency and quality objectives are met or exceeded. Identify and resolve process operational issues, facilitate equipment problems, maintain quality, productivity and safety utilizing available resources. Enforce safety standards and quality procedures to ensure that department and QCD safety rules and quality specifications are adhered to. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and productivity by developing new ideas, process improvement, and planning for upcoming equipment or process changes. Routinely informs and communicates with all leadership resources to promote smooth operations, enhance the team’s understanding of QCD policies and objectives, and to ensure compliance with established warehouse policies and procedures.
