As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Pay Rate: $21.52 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and other security-related activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
