As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Service in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, lobby spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with authorized entry and directing guests as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
