The Amazon Prime UX Design team is at the heart of the Prime membership innovating and designing on behalf of our customers. We are relentlessly focused on improving the membership experience to delight customers around the globe. Prime UX researchers and designers work with global Product Marketing Branding Data Science and Tech team partners to deliver compelling customer experiences for Amazon worldwide (WW).

The WW Prime Member Growth team is on a mission to bring the value of Prime to hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. Were looking for a Product Designer to join our growing team and shape the end-to-end Prime membership experience from how customers discover and understand Primes value to how they engage with it every this role youll work on high-impact initiatives at the intersection of AI and membership including conversational AI assistants AI-driven personalization and value communication strategies that help customers get the most out of their membership. Youll collaborate with product managers engineers researchers and cross-functional partners to define design and deliver experiences that reach a truly global audience.

You know how to present ideas professionally through a strategic and creative lens. You have a strong capability to collaborate closely with other UX designers product management engineering scientists and operational teams as you go from early-stage product concepts to launches of new features and experiences. You have a solid understanding of dynamic interfaces and conversation design fundamentals. You approach your craft with an AI-native mindset actively integrating AI tools and capabilities into your research ideation and delivery process to move faster and raise the quality of your output. You think first from the customers perspective use research and data to influence your designs set relentlessly high standards for yourself and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced agile environment. The ideal candidate will be able to visualize an experience in the abstract break down complex use cases and drive the vision into solid design deliverables.

Key job responsibilities
- Design the CX/UX of multiple products or a single complex product; includes owning end-to-end UX from strategy to tactical execution to UX sign-off.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research synthesis design exploration and iteration
- Continuously adopt emerging AI capabilities into your design workflow to increase speed and quality of output
- Advocate and design for the customer using objective data such as market analysis and customer insights.
- Facilitate collaboration across a diverse set of global Prime business stakeholders.
- Partner with product and business teams to plan and balance immediate requirements with long-term scalable solutions.
- Define and improve design best practices and help drive their adoption.
- Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features with validation techniques including usability testing
- Present design work to UX partners cross-disciplinary teams and executive leaders.
- Proactively manage your own work queue time and expectations; meet deadlines and communicate needs and tradeoffs if your schedule is in jeopardy

The WW Prime Member Growth team is on a mission to bring the value of Prime to hundreds of millions of customers around the world. We work across the full member lifecycle from acquisition to onboarding activation and retention designing experiences that help customers discover understand and fall in love with Prime.

Our team operates at a truly global scale building customer experiences across channels locales and cohorts. We collaborate closely with product science engineering and marketing partners to create strategies that are locally relevant and globally scalable. Whether its crafting a first-touch experience for a new member in an emerging market or reimagining how long-tenured members perceive value were obsessed with making every interaction intuitive delightful and meaningful.

- 5 years of design experience
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end user-centered design solutions and patterns across desktop and mobile devices
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma Adobe Creative Cloud or similar
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature
- Demonstrated experience with AI driven workflows
- 3 years of delivering mass-market consumer web / mobile products experiences

- 5 years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Experience shipping innovative successful consumer products
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience in visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience owning program strategy managing end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
