Maintenance Mechanic B- 1st Shift

Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B- 1st Shift at our Los Angeles, CA plant (Near Glendale Metro). Core 1st shift hours for this role are 5:30am - 2pm Monday - Friday. With almost 300 employees, the Los Angeles facility designs and manufactures quality valves, regulators, and other fluid controls used mostly by the Aerospace Industry.

What you'll do:

• The Fabrication Mechanic will be repairing, installing, adjusting, or maintaining industrial production equipment and Machining equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshooting and repairs to plant machines, facility infrastructure and related equipment.
• Collaborate with operators to observe, test, and evaluate operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic and mechanical malfunctions and replace defective parts.
• Perform test-runs on repaired machinery and equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.
• Support installation of new and/or used manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Clean and lubricate parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Forklift and scissor lift operation.
