The ideal candidate is an experienced litigator who is comfortable managing a high-volume caseload and practicing in both state and federal courts. Responsibilities Manage cases from inception through resolution Draft and file complaints and responsive pleadings Draft and argue dispositive motions Develop litigation strategy in reimbursement and coverage disputes Engage in settlements negotiations Appear in CT state and federal courts Collaborate on complex healthcare litigation matters involving regulatory and reimbursement frameworks Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 3+ years of litigation experience Licensed and in good standing in Connecticut (required) Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey or New York (preferred) Licensed in the Federal Court of Connecticut (preferred) Prior experience in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage, or reimbursement disputes preferred but not required Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Ability to manage cases independently Salary Range: $140,000-170,000 / year, commensurate with experience Benefits 100% employer paid Medical Insurance, starting day 1 100% employer paid Dental and Vision Insurance, starting within 31 days 401(k) with Employer Safe Harbor Contributions Profit Sharing Cash Balance Plan (similar to pension) Competitive PTO & Paid Holidays Friendly, team-focused culture where your work matters Gottlieb & Greenspan is an equal opportunity employer.
