Controls Project Manager

The Controls Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of controls-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires a strong background in building automation systems and HVAC controls, as well as excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage controls projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for successful project execution.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project status and quality of work performed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in controls and HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proven ability to manage commercial projects successfully and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
