Our medical center serves Veterans throughout southern West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio and offers a comprehensive continuum of care, including: State-of-the-art Gastroenterology services • Comprehensive Women's Health Center • Community Resource & Referral Center for homeless Veterans • Extensive specialty care and interdisciplinary treatment programs • Strong academic affiliation with Marshall University School of Medicine Position Highlights As a Gastroenterologist within the Medical Service, you will: ✔ Practice independently within a collaborative specialty team ✔ Diagnose and treat disorders involving: Esophagus Stomach Small intestine Colon and rectum Pancreas Gallbladder Biliary system Liver ✔ Perform and assist with gastroenterological procedures ✔ Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient GI care ✔ Participate in educational activities with Marshall University learners ✔ Work primarily at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center campus ✔ Enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday schedule Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No RVU pressure.
