Journeyman HVAC Service Technician

Who You Are Service Technicians perform thorough maintenance on all ages of equipment, with the ability to accurately diagnose heating and air conditioning system issues.Youmust be able to recognize potential breakdown issues before they happen and make theappropriate recommendationsto the customer.Youmust also be comfortable asking for money and deliver excellent communication skills. Essential Job Functions Ability toworka flexible schedule andmaintainattendance based on business needs. Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately,timely, and inan accuratemanner. Abilit to manage stress, difficult, oremotionalcustomer situations. Operating company vehicles, and you will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well asmaintainthe cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicles. Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training, and no tolerance will be accepted for disregard of safety instructions. Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipmentutilizedin the trade. Perform skilled maintenance work in the repair, installation, and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors, and any other wiring system as needed. Present options to homeowners for repairs and replacements Submit customer invoices viacompanyiPad, correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostics, and all recommended repairs. Perform proper maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems thatpreventssystems from breaking down and provide safety and comfort for our clients. Communicate options to clients for maintenance, repairs,andreplacement Ability to speak andmaintainprofessionalism to customers, team members, and vendors. Required Qualifications Valid Driver’s License HVAC Certified/EPA Journeyman License 3+ years of HVAC experience Clean driving record Time management skills Basic software understanding Self-motivation High School diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service skills Basic mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively Being capable ofmaintainingprofessional working relationships with team members The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc. The ability to perform basic mathematical functions Preferred Qualifications Service Titanexperience Basic Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) knowledge and experience Sales experience Excellent selling,communicationand negotiation skills Skill in performing routine manual labor Physical Demands & Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employeeis regularly required tostand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
