Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial EPC Project Manager to lead engineering, procurement, and construction projects across industrial sectors including energy, power, water, wastewater, food processing, and petroleum. The role is responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards by coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle for EPC projects from feasibility and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and resource plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, contractors, vendors and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Oversee procurement activities and supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements on site and in project execution.
• Manage contract administration, change control, risk identification and mitigation, and claims resolution with clients and partners.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and providing regular project reporting and status updates.
• Implement and enforce project management best practices, procedures and tools; mentor and develop project staff.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying value engineering to optimize cost and performance.
• Chair project meetings and represent the project at client, regulatory and internal governance forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; advanced degree or PMP is a plus.
• Minimum 812 years of project management experience in industrial EPC environments (construction, process plants, power, water/wastewater, food processing or petroleum).
• Proven track record delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget in sectors such as energy, power generation, water/wastewater, food processing or petroleum.
• Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices, process engineering concepts and project controls (scheduling, cost control, forecasting).
• Experience with procurement, contract management, and coordinating vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and implementation on industrial sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client-facing skills, with ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
• Competency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and financial reporting systems.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in field environments as required.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, Prince2, NEBOSH or industry-specific) and experience in claims management or EPC contracting preferred.
