- Associate degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with water sampling, air monitoring, soil sampling, and groundwater sampling techniques.
- Knowledge of hazardous waste handling and environmental compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with underground storage tank inspection and solid waste management practices.
- Ability to work safely in field environments and follow established safety protocols.
- Certification as an Environmental Technician or related professional credential.
- Experience using environmental data management software and GIS tools.
- Prior work experience in environmental consulting or regulatory agencies.
- Training in OSHA safety standards and hazardous materials handling.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Conduct water, air, soil, and groundwater sampling in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Perform air monitoring and hazardous waste assessments to identify potential environmental risks.
- Inspect and monitor underground storage tanks and solid waste management sites to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and calibrate field equipment to guarantee accurate data collection.
- Document sampling activities and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and observations.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists and regulatory agencies to support environmental compliance initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental monitoring plans and corrective action measures.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines during all field operations.
