Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Preferred Credentials: - ONS if wanting to do chemo

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend - Holidays rotate with staff

Floating Requirements: - Rarely to Medical Acute

Special Requests: - Telemetry is available with central monitoring; reading strips is not required

Required Skills/Experience: - Acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, end-of-life care - Outpatient area patients may come to the floor to finish treatment if running late and the outpatient area closes

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• ONS (Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
