Service Desk Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Service Desk Technician to provide front-line technical support and operational assistance in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for responding to support requests, troubleshooting hardware and system-related issues, monitoring system performance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day operational activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming support requests and provide exceptional customer service. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-related issues, escalating when necessary. Monitor system alerts, processing errors, and operational notifications to ensure timely resolution. Document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions accurately. Complete assigned daily operational tasks and checklists. Assist with system configuration requests and operational support activities. Participate in testing and validation efforts for system updates and enhancements. Monitor system performance and conduct preliminary troubleshooting before escalation. Collaborate with internal teams to support projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to established procedures, service standards, and escalation protocols. Support business operations during peak periods and critical events. Required Qualifications Experience in a customer service, help desk, service desk, or technical support environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Technical aptitude and interest in technology, hardware, and system support. Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations. Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience providing technical support for hardware, software, or operational systems. Exposure to system monitoring, testing, or configuration activities. Experience participating in operational or technology-related projects. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
