We offer: Full Benefits Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program General Description The RN in the Operating Room circulates and coordinates the surgical team, providing perioperative nursing care before, during and after surgery. Ensures that the surgical room is sterile and safe for the patient Ensures the surgical room is properly set for the surgical procedure Shows strong attention to detail and physical stamina for long work hours Assesses the needs of the patient during the procedure to ensure the best outcome Works with the Physician and Anesthesia Provider to safely care for the patient during the surgery Keeps a record of the surgical procedure, supplies, and instruments Assists the Anesthesia Provider during induction and in case of an emergency Other Duties Follow guidelines and standards of care Understand the team concept and work with others Demonstrate excellence in communication and interpersonal skills Display professionalism Efficiently multi‑task Contribute to a caring and cooperative work environment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred Possess or be eligible for a current Arizona Registered Nurse License ACLS certification required Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting; must be able to stand/walk up to 70% of the work day; must lift, transfer, turn, and position residents weighing up to 125 lbs unassisted, or with one assistant for residents over 125 lbs. May be exposed to offensive odors, combative behavior, and communicable diseases including HIV and HBV. Must lift and carry up to 20 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally. #J-18808-Ljbffr
