Job Description Chrissy Pulliam's American Family Insurance agency in Buford, GA is hiring an Insurance Sales Advisor. Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Flexible Schedule Health Insurance Mon-Fri Schedule Retirement Plan Licensing Assistance Warm Leads Responsibilities Contact customers and prospects by phone/text/email to follow up on home and auto quotes not sold, answer questions, overcome objections, and convert to bindable business. Run a disciplined recapture process for lost opportunities (lapsed, canceled, went elsewhere), re-quote when appropriate, and present updated options to win the business back. Conduct needs-based conversations to identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate coverages, and offer multi-line solutions (home/auto bundles, additional vehicles, umbrellas if applicable). Generate and qualify new leads through community-based outreach (local groups, events, small business/community relationships) and turn them into quoting opportunities—no travel required (phone-first approach). Accurately prepare and present quotes, explain coverages and pricing clearly, and guide customers through next steps to close. Manage a pipeline of prospects and follow-ups; meet daily/weekly activity goals (calls, appointments, quotes, conversion). Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions in the CRM/agency management system and ensure timely follow-up. Coordinate with the agent/agency team to support marketing campaigns, lead lists, renewal conversations, and service-to-sales handoffs. Ensure all sales activity aligns with licensing requirements, carrier/underwriting guidelines, and required disclosures. Requirements Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required on start date (must be in good standing). Previous office/administrative experience in a professional setting. Strong computer skills, including: Accurate typing/data entry Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic spreadsheets, sorting/filtering) and Microsoft Office Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a high volume of follow-up activity in a fast-paced environment. Strong phone communication skills and comfort making consistent outbound calls. Customer-focused mindset with strong listening, problem-solving, and objection-handling skills. High attention to detail and ability to document work accurately in a CRM/agency management system. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
