The Nursing Technician performs basic nursing care and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Required Knowledge & Skills Education: Ability to read and write Experience: No prior work experience required Licenses and Certifications HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR) Qualifications Currently enrolled in a practical nursing program or a student currently enrolled in a professional nursing program, or previous experience working with patients, or one quarter of clinical experience as a student nurse, or successful completion of a nurse aide course, or experience from a related health care field preferred NOTE: BLS within 30 days Unit Description: Tanner Medical Center's CVICU is a six-bed Cardiovascular critical care unit that provides high-quality, specialized care for patients who have undergone open heart surgery, vascular or thoracic surgical procedures and require intensive monitoring and nursing observations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Tanner Health
