PEEK Night Club-Host/Cashier

Job Description

The Host/Cashier at Peek Nightclub is responsible for delivering a welcoming and efficient guest arrival experience while accurately managing all entry transactions. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, cover charges, VIP guest lists, and reservations in a fast-paced, high-energy nightlife environment. The Host/Cashier ensures a smooth entry process, maintains cash handling accuracy, and collaborates with security and floor staff to create a seamless and enjoyable guest experience in alignment with Peek Nightclub's service standards.

Responsibilities

• Greets nightclub guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Prompt hanging of guests' coats in order of arrival.
• Assists in identifying casino comps, hotel and VIP guests for entering the nightclub.
• Familiarizes self with hotel/casino so that accurate directions can be given to guests who inquire.
• Accepts responsibility for cash register bankroll, all cash received, charge card and complimentary receipts.
• Maintains the appropriate supplies needed for the proper performance of duties.
• Prepares multiple reports.
• Responds to telephone calls.
• Uses computerized cash register.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a cashier and/or host preferred
• Previous experience with accounting or heavy math preferred
• Fluent and literate in English
• Ability to accurately handle cash
• Legible handwriting
• Must be able to maintain upbeat and positive personality for extended periods of time while working
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
• Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
• Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Dexterity to use computerized cash register
• Ability to sit or stand for eight hours
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
• Ability to climb stairs
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
• Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
