Registered Nurse - Hematology/Oncology (Nights, Full-Time) Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC Schedule: 7pm to 7am Eligible for relocation. Our Hematology/Oncology Unit specializes in caring for patients undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and complex medical management. Nurses on this team play a vital role in providing both advanced clinical care and meaningful emotional support to patients and families during critical moments in their health journey. What Makes This Unit Stand Out A specialized focus on oncology and hematology, offering both clinical depth and meaningful patient connections 24/7 leadership support and strong collaboration with oncology specialists A team culture that values resilience, compassion, and professional growth What You'll Do Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and transfusions safely and effectively Manage side effects and complications related to cancer therapies Support patients with hematologic disorders, including anemia, clotting disorders, and leukemia Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, and the interdisciplinary team on care plans Provide patient and family education on treatment, recovery, and ongoing care What We're Looking For Education: 4 Year/Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
