Job Description:\n\nGeneral Information:\nJob Title: MAWM Configuration Lead Consultant\nJob Location: Atlanta, GA, United States (Onsite/Hybrid) OR fully remote across the United States for exceptional candidates.\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\nHiring Timeline: Immediate\nReporting Line: Co-Founder & COO\nTravel Expectations: Up to 50% travel, based on customer requirements.\nExisting Vacancy: Yes\nApplication Deadline: Open until Filled\nSalary Range: 115K – 130K USD per year (negotiable)\n\nAbout Fulfillment IQ (FIQ): \n \n Fulfillment IQ is a supply chain engineering and transformation company that helps brands, retailers, and 3PLs design, build, and scale high-performance logistics operations. \nWe work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology where we solve complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution. \nOur teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk. \nIf you enjoy working in complex environments, partnering closely with clients, and seeing your work make a tangible impact on how global commerce moves, this is the place where your skills and judgment truly come to life. \nRole Overview: \nWe are seeking an experienced MAWM Configuration Lead Consultant with deep expertise in Manhattan Active Warehouse Management to lead configuration design, solution validation, and implementation activities across large-scale WMS transformation programs.\n \nThis role requires strong hands-on configuration expertise, functional understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to lead client-facing workshops, translate business requirements into scalable MAWM solutions, and guide project teams through design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.\n \nThe ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business, operations, and technical stakeholders while owning key configuration workstreams and ensuring the MAWM solution is aligned with operational goals, system standards, and implementation best practices.\n \nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Lead MAWM configuration workstreams across full-cycle implementation projects.\n Own configuration design for core warehouse processes, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, cross-dock, and labor-related workflows.\n Translate business requirements into scalable Manhattan Active WMS configuration solutions.\n Lead client workshops and design sessions to gather requirements, validate process flows, and define future-state workflows.\n Configure Manhattan Active WMS using Configuration Director and related MAWM tools.\n Manage and govern multi-configuration environments across project phases.\n Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, integration teams, QA teams, and client stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.\n Review and validate configuration changes to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to project standards.\n Support integration discussions involving APIs, JSON payloads, Postman testing, ERP integrations, and external systems.\n Partner with technical teams on Manhattan ProActive Extension requirements, validation, and solution design.\n Create and maintain detailed documentation, including configuration specifications, business rules, process flows, test scenarios, and design artifacts.\n Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, and go-live readiness activities.\n Identify risks, configuration gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.\n Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and configuration team members.\n Support deployment, hypercare, stabilization, and post-go-live improvement activities.\n Act as a key point of contact for configuration-related decisions, risks, escalations, and solution recommendations.\n\n \nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.\n 8+ years of experience in WMS consulting, supply chain systems implementation, or warehouse technology transformation.\n Strong hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management configuration.\n Minimum of 2 full-cycle Manhattan Active WMS implementations.\n Proven experience leading MAWM configuration workstreams or solution design activities.\n Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, cycle counting, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and cross-docking.\n Experience working with Configuration Director and managing multi-configuration environments.\n Familiarity with Manhattan ProActive Extension development concepts and related solution validation.\n Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, Postman, and integration testing.\n Experience supporting system integrations between WMS, ERP, TMS, automation, parcel, labor, and other supply chain systems.\n Strong experience with SIT, UAT, defect resolution, go-live readiness, and post-go-live support.\n Ability to lead requirements workshops, design discussions, and stakeholder alignment sessions.\n Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\n Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business users, technical teams, project leaders, and executive stakeholders.\n Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.\n Experience with Manhattan SCI reporting and analytics tools.\n Knowledge of distribution center transportation, parcel, automation, robotics, or labor management processes.\n Experience working with retail, consumer goods, eCommerce, 3PL, or omnichannel fulfillment environments.\n Prior experience mentoring consultants or leading small project teams.\n Experience contributing to solution governance, configuration standards, and implementation best practices.\n\n \nWhat Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:\n\n30 Days In\n\n Build a strong understanding of the client environment, current MAWM setup, project scope, and implementation objectives.\n Review existing configurations, process flows, integrations, open issues, and design documentation.\n Establish relationships with client stakeholders, operations teams, technical teams, and internal project members.\n Begin contributing to requirements discussions, configuration reviews, and design validation sessions.\n Identify key risks, gaps, and areas requiring deeper analysis.\n\n \n60 Days In\n\n Take ownership of assigned MAWM configuration workstreams.\n Lead configuration discussions and support design decisions across key warehouse processes.\n Drive configuration updates, documentation, and validation activities.\n Support integration planning, testing readiness, and defect triage.\n Provide clear recommendations to improve solution quality, usability, and operational alignment.\n Demonstrate strong progress against project milestones and configuration deliverables.\n\n \n90 Days In\n\n Independently lead configuration deliverables for assigned functional areas.\n Support or lead go-live readiness, deployment planning, and hypercare preparation.\n Provide strategic input on MAWM design, configuration governance, and future enhancements.\n Help deliver measurable improvements in solution quality, system stability, and warehouse process efficiency.\n Be recognized as a trusted MAWM configuration lead by stakeholders and project teams.\n\n \nKey Performance Indicators:’\n\n Configuration Delivery: Timely and accurate completion of assigned configuration deliverables.\n Solution Quality: Low defect leakage and strong alignment between configuration and business requirements.\n Testing Success: High SIT/UAT pass rates and timely defect resolution.\n Go-Live Readiness: Smooth deployment with minimal rework or stabilization issues.\n Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from client business users, operations teams, and technical stakeholders.\n Process Improvement: Measurable improvement in warehouse productivity, accuracy, cycle time, or operational efficiency.\n Team Leadership: Effective guidance, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across project teams.\n\n \nWhy You’ll Love Working Here:\nAt Fulfillment IQ, we don’t just build supply chain solutions;
