Position Summary
Reporting to the Principal Investigator of the NIH grant for the Youth Development, Diversity, and Disparities (3D) Lab at Fordham University, the Lab Coordinator manages and conducts a longitudinal study of economic and educational experiences, and cardiovascular health, during the transition to adulthood. This position involves supervision of student research assistants on a variety of related research projects and community outreach. This is a 1-year position (with possibility of extension). Essential Functions
Assumes day-to-day management of the 3E Study, a new NIH-funded grant to conduct a longitudinal study of economic and educational experiences, and cardiovascular health, during the transition to adulthood. Manages ongoing funding activities, including administrative and research support for grant writing and managing submissions, and ongoing reporting requirements. Oversees data collection and management by utilizing data tracking systems and maintaining research instruments and protocols. Manages recruitment initiatives by scheduling study visits and maintaining consistent communications with participating students and university administrators. Supports project operations by processing participant payments, maintaining lab equipment and supply inventory, and assisting with IRB survey management. Essential Functions Note

Management Responsibilities
May provide peer-level coordination or subject-matter guidance to colleagues performing similar work and/or student, part-time workers, including helping organize tasks, clarify priorities, or review work for quality or consistency.
Additional Functions
Directs weekly lab meetings Assists with lab/study websites and social media dissemination. Participates in Youth Participatory Action Research Projects in the 3D Lab with community partners. Participates in the design and conduct of basic and complex data analyses. Participates in writing, presenting, and submitting research reports to professional conferences and scientific peer-reviewed journals. Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
B.A. or B.S. in the fields of psychology, education, public health, or relevant social science. Minimum of 2 years of experience with research in a team-based setting, and comfort using research and statistical software and survey platforms. Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated capacity to manage research projects effectively, efficiently, and in a highly organized manner. Proven ability to simultaneously prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks and project deadlines. Demonstrated expertise in managing operational timelines. Experience providing guidance, technical training, and daily workflow oversight to research assistants or student workers. Exceptional attention to detail and documented accuracy in data management and project administration. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner with all project stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively within a team-based lab environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently with superior judgment, self-initiative, and the maturity to resolve moderately complex problems under limited supervision. Functional proficiency in utilizing data tracking systems, research-based software, and the Microsoft Office or Google suites. Preferred Qualifications
