Job Description
Job Opportunity Position Overview Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the Registered Nurse (RN) will perform patient care functions as approved by the State Board of Nursing and in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision during the assigned shift. Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in compliance with state regulations and hospital protocols.
- Work closely with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse to ensure effective patient management.
- Participate in team activities and maintain open communication among healthcare staff.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Current Maine RN license or compact license.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification; IV certification required.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
- If the traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a local rate decrease will apply.
- Up to 16 hours of orientation will be unpaid.
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during a 13-week contract period.
