Job Description
Job Title: Operating Room RN

Profession: Registered Nurse

Specialty: Ophthalmology

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: AM (07:00 - 16:30), Monday to Thursday

Hours per Shift: 9 hours

Experience: Ophthalmology experience required (Cataracts, Glaucoma, Ocular Plastics)

License: Current RN License in the state

Certifications: BLS (AHA) required, CNOR recommended

Must-Have: Excellent interpersonal skills, independent problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, skills checklist required with submission

Description:
Provides nursing care in accordance with the objectives, policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
Participates in patient teaching.
Incorporates the needs and behavior of the specific age and cultural groups in planning and providing care.
Engages in quality improvement activities.
Specializes in Cataract, Glaucoma, Corneal Transplant, and Ocular Plastic Surgeries for adult patients.
No call, weekends, or holidays required.
This is a fast-paced, progressive surgery center.
