Corporate Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Finance Associate to join its Houston office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of finance experience, stellar academic credentials, and comparable law firm experience. Admission to the bar and good standing in the state of practice are required. Duties Advise clients on accessing and deploying capital across borders and industries. Participate in debt restructuring matters for both debtors and creditors. Work with credit investors on structuring novel credit investments. Assist private equity sponsors with leveraged buyouts and acquisitions. Engage in senior secured debt, high yield, and bridge financings. Requirements 3 to 5 years of finance experience in a law firm setting. Stellar academic credentials. Admission to the bar and good standing in the state of practice. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the state of practice. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
