Power & HVAC Field Service Technician - Level 2

Job Title Shop Technician (Pump and Power) – Pump & Power Technician 2 Responsibilities Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Pump & Power equipment, ensuring safe operation and minimizing downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic flow charts to troubleshoot equipment issues. Utilize knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical engines, controllers, dehumidification equipment, and compressed air treatment to conduct repairs. Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation, following all safety protocols and compliance standards. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification. Basic understanding of refrigeration (EPA certified), electrical engines and controllers, dehumidification equipment (CDI and Munters), compressed air treatment (dryers, filters, aftercoolers). Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, shoring, diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors. Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow charts. Experience with similar equipment and related roles such as construction equipment mechanic, field service technician, or maintenance technician. Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more, often working indoors or outdoors as required by the job. Compensation Base Pay Range: $27.07 – $38.90 per hour (starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience).
