ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Sonoma Raceway Ticketing Event Staff is a position in the Ticketing department that will provide a role working with and running aspects of the ticketing sales side of Sonoma Raceway. This team is responsible for ticket sales at the main gate during events.

The ideal candidate will adopt a GLOBE mentality. GLOBE stands for Generously Lending Our Best Efforts. This is done by holding themselves and their teammates accountable for taking our best practices "the last mile" - optimizing them for maximum value to all of our stakeholders while sharing insights on how to improve our company. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Superior verbal/written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in team environments
• The position requires ability to work nights and weekends
• High integrity and confidentiality, be able to approach strangers and interact in a natural conversation.
• Must be polite, courteous, and treat all consumers respectfully regardless of the situation while treating the company assets with care at all times.
• Work event days, including but not limited to:
• Major events such as NASCAR and NHRA, Bracket Drags, Sonoma Drags and Drifts, and Track Rentals as needed
• Assist Ticketing manager to prepare for gate sales:
• Gate sale ticket printing, upgrades and credentials when needed
• Print/update event day signage
• Assist with gate seller setup:
• Seller sheets
• Bundle tickets and credentials
• Cash and credit card reconciliation and deposits
• Assist with event day scheduling

PAY RATE:

$16.50 Hourly
