Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising physical therapist in implementing treatment plans for medically complex patients in a LTAC/LTC setting
- Support therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility tasks as delegated
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living as appropriate, ensuring patient safety
- Prepare treatment areas, set up equipment, and monitor patient responses during sessions
- Document patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team
- Maintain infection control, safety standards, and appropriate equipment maintenance

Requirements
- Current, active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire
- 1+ year of PT aide/PTA experience in LTAC or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, medically complex LTC environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable, with a patient-centered approach
