CNC Machinist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines (experience with wire EDM or grinders is a plus)
Select and install appropriate cutting tools based on program requirements
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform shop math, including calculations for dimensions, tolerances, speeds, and feeds
Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Hold tight tolerances and ensure parts meet specifications
Set up and operate basic manual machine tools as needed
Complete production tasks accurately and within established timelines

Qualifications

Prior experience as a CNC Machinist
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and close-tolerance work
Knowledge of blueprint reading and measurement tools
Ability to pass background and drug screening
