Pharmacy Technician Chevy Chase MD

Pay From: $22 Per Hour

MUST:

• 4 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Experience in a fast paced outpatient retail setting
• Experience processing and filling prescriptions
• Ordering medications and maintaining inventory
• Counting meds
• Verifying insurance
• Following up on rejected prescriptions
• Experience assisting patients on phone and in person
• Experience processing refills
• Strong computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Certified in the state of Maryland as a pharmacy Technician

DUTIES:

• Order and maintain inventory
• Process and fill prescriptions
• Verify insurance
• Document patient information in computer system
• Provide customer service support
• Answer phones
• Greet customers
• Provide patient education
