Now Hiring: Make Ready Technician | Aubrey, TX 76227

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician to support a busy apartment community in Aubrey, TX. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in preparing apartment homes for new residents and assisting with day-to-day property maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Complete apartment make-readies, including repairs, touch-ups, cleaning, and unit preparation
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Install and replace fixtures, hardware, and other apartment components
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete assigned work orders
• Follow safety procedures and properly use hand and power tools
• Communicate completed work and project updates with onsite staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Make Ready Technician or Apartment Maintenance Technician
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
• Must have your own basic hand tools
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
