Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Friday: either 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
The Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) will work within an acute care setting, utilizing specialized skills to perform imaging procedures. This role requires a commitment to patient care and safety while adhering to the established protocols and procedures of the unit.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations and related procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order.
- Document and report findings accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) using EPIC.
- Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid state license for vascular technologists.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Ability to disclose background hits at the time of submission.
