Phlebotomist Full Time

Job Title: Phlebotomist Location: Wichita, KS Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm; additional days/hours as needed Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or 3+ years of experience as a phlebotomist Experience in pediatrics Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
