Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the rehabilitation goals and needs of each patient through thorough evaluations and consultations.
• Manage a patient caseload, conducting one-on-one sessions to ensure personalized attention and care, averaging around one patient per hour.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive, individualized care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Implement cost-effective treatment protocols aimed at improving patients' range of motion while minimizing dependency on pain medications.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options, motivating them to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey.
• Design custom fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's specific challenges and goals, ensuring holistic recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, facilitating interdisciplinary approaches to complex cases.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring clear communication and record-keeping through EMR systems, particularly WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your approach will empower patients through education and tailored interventions that foster self-efficacy and long-term health improvements.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A professional record characterized by integrity, with no history of disciplinary actions taken against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques that enhance treatment efficacy.
• Exceptional skill in developing and implementing physical exercise protocols to address patient-specific needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Competence in the use of EMR software, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and management.
• A solid foundation in contemporary rehabilitation methodologies and practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
