Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care in an outpatient setting, conducting sessions that focus on personalized recovery plans for 1-2 patients per hour.
• Evaluate patients comprehensively and formulate tailored treatment plans that consider their unique needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to optimize patient recovery.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation utilizing our EMR systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on home exercises and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes and active adults to older adults seeking to regain mobility and enhance their quality of life. You will engage with patients in meaningful ways to motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Current California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster engagement and trust with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience
