Work Environment

This onsite position offers a vibrant team atmosphere alongside two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient-specific objectives and healthcare needs.
• Manage a well-structured caseload, ensuring effective treatment for one patient per hour while maintaining high standards of care.
• Develop individualized care plans incorporating a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Implement tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving individual patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on post-treatment rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care and progress in accordance with regulatory standards and practice protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners to enhance and optimize comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout the rehabilitation process, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with orthopedic patients requiring physical rehabilitation services, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic injury management. You will engage with a diverse group of individuals, tailoring your approach to suit various conditions and physical abilities. Your proficiency in fostering patient relationships will be critical in supporting their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Valid license as a physical therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic principles and manual therapy techniques.
• Proficient skills in developing effective exercise regimens and treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based practices to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
• Experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff or PTA is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
